My experience as a front-end developer made me a problem-solver. When I design, I know how to battle all the challenges that will surface up when it's time to move into programming.
Mobile interface designs require different understanding of user behavior. I have designed and prototyped many web and native applications, across a variety of platforms.
4/2009 - 8/2011 I worked at Fender Musical Instruments as a UI / UX developer. My co-workers and myself were busy designing and programming the Fender family of websites while playing some awesome music.
8/2011 - 4/2013 I worked at FabCom, an advertising and marketing firm, as a front-end developer and as a UX designer. Focusing mainly on implementing CMS and designing complex workflows using wire-framing and flowcharting.
12/2013 I currently work at Scott's Marketplace as a lead UX designer. I'm in charge of redesigning the main application based on user data analysis and using the lean UX methodology
A good design has to be based on science and art. User experience research helps out in understanding the problems that are needed to be solved by design.
Gap analysis, feedback and frequent user testing are the key for getting a full picture of how users interact with a product, which can be quite surprising at times.
